2nd Shift                       Monday – Friday                      2:00 p.m. – 10:30 pm.

3rd Shift                        Sunday – Thursday                 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work in this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. The position may require that employees perform other duties as assigned.

  • Operate CNC Lathe and Swiss turning machines   
  • Produce / Inspect parts according to blueprints and inspection intervals
  • Work and be familiar with basic measuring tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Gages, etc.)
  • Maintain CNC machines and surrounding area by performing TPM activities on a regular basis
  • Work independently and/or in a team
  • Document SPC measurements in QA software
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of CNC machining experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Receiving Clerks for 1st and 2nd shift. If you are striving to become part of a family business and

With locations in Windsor, CT and Germany, our Windsor CT location is poised for significant
growth and is looking for serious applicants. Our business philosophy with customers, suppliers,

1st Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for manufactured part inventory – record movement of parts, using a
computer, from final inspection to the packaging of parts in specified containers
to shelf location.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance department for quality of parts.
- Assembly process of finished parts and subcomponents.


Required Qualifications:
- Must be computer literate – MS office required, familiar with Excel. Will be
required to learn our proprietary software program for daily data entry.
- High degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills required.
- Ability to lift to 75 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder to stock or remove parts.
- Able to stand for most of the shift.
- Forklift certified a plus.
- Must have 5+ years experience.

Our business philosophy with customers, suppliers, and employees, is based on true partnerships and spans across decades.

We are looking for a self-directed accounting professional who can manage the overall activities of our general accounting operations. Working from our location in Windsor, CT, this position will report to the General Manager. Coordination with controlling and our CFO in Germany is required. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), along with excellent communication and analytical skills.  Experience and the ability to manage human resources as well, is greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

 

  • Overseeing daily financial transactions
  • Managing an admin for A/R, general ledger entries and reconciling GL accounts
  • Managing cashflow, budgeting and A/P
  • Accurate and timely month-end close
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Building & Maintaining relationships with banks, customers, and vendors
  • Prepare & assist with external and internal audit requests as well as Tax Returns
  • Fixed assets, depreciation, lease loans and financing management
  • Leading cost savings efforts and applying for funding or grants
  • Ensuring timely processing to meet deadlines
  • Overseeing weekly payroll processing that is done via the company payroll system (Checkwriters)
  • Managing HR for 40+ employees (hiring, termination, STD, LTD, unemployment claims, etc.)
  • Maintain employee files
  • Reviewing applicant’s skill sets; Overseeing on-boarding & training
  • 401K Plan Administrator
  • Insurance renewals and all aspects of human resources, includes policies & procedures, disciplinary guidance for managers, responsible for HR postings and compliance with labor laws and regulations

 

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to read, interpret, and manage a P&L and other financial statements
  • Ability to forecast and create relevant budgets
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, macros, etc.), Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and labor laws, along with excellent communication and analytical skills
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrating a high level of respect, while maintaining integrity and upholding the company's values

 

Education and/or Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration preferred.  Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks for accounting required
  • ERP systems implementation is a plus
  • German language ability is a plus, but is not required
  • Notary public is a plus, but is not required
